M. Sc. Vojka Zgombić Popović, DMD, Specialist in Orthodontics

doktorica2graduated from the School of Dental Medicine, University in Zagreb. She opened her first dental office in 1989. She has been combining her multipurpose work with patients with continuous education on different Croatian and international congresses and seminars. She has an MA in Biomedical Sciences and a Specialist’s Degree in Orthodontics. She is currently training for court expert in the field of dental medicine. In 2012 her dental office grew to become a polyclinic, to the overall satisfaction of both her patients and her staff. In her work, she is trying to pursue world trends and qualities, so all the interventions, diagnosis, treatment and final works in her polyclinic are in accordance with the contemporary findings. She places emphasis on the minimally invasive dental medicine, where the well-being of her patients and the preservation of biological structures are the primary aim. She focuses on the aesthetics of smile and lower face, contemporary self ligation orthodontics, micro implants, function and articulation. She puts great effort and time in education, which she considers to be an absolute imperative today. She is a member of the Croatian Medical Association, the Croatian Dental Chamber, the Croatian Society of Orthodontics and the Rotary Club Zagreb Sljeme.

SILVIJA KANIŽAJ, DMD, Specialist in Orthodontics

silvijaShe finished her elementary and high education in Zagreb. She graduated from the School of Dental Medicine, University in Zagreb. She started her postgraduate specialist study in 2005. The same year she started her specialisation in orthodontics. In 2008 she earned her Specialist in Orthodontics title. Since then she has been working in Orthonova Polyclinic and continues her education on Croatian and international congresses, focusing on micro implants, lingual orthodontics and temporomandibular disorders. She is fluent in English and German.

Tajana Novak, DMD

tajanaShe was born in Zagreb. She graduated form the School of Dental Medicine, University in Zagreb in 2005. In 2010 she enrolled into the Postgraduate Specialist Study Programme at the same university. After finishing her internship in 2006, she started working in Dr. Vojka Zgombić Popović’s private dental office, which grew to become Orthonova Polyclinic in March 2012. She continues to work there. Except for her love for periodontology and endodontics, she works in the field of cosmetic dentistry (conservative and prosthetic therapy) and pediatric dentistry on daily basis. She is fluent in English.

In 2012 she was selected as one of the top three dentists in Like! Magazine.

Marija Miholjević, DMD

miholjevicgraduated from School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb in 2005. After finishing her compulsory internship and passing the state exam, she worked in Dr. Paušek’s dental office from 2006 – 2010. Since 2011 she has been working in Orthonova Polyclinic.
In 2012 she continues her education, enrolling into the Postgraduate Specialist University Study Programme of Dental Medicine in Zagreb.
She is a member of the Croatian Dental Chamber, the Croatian Medical Association and the Croatian Society of Orthodontics.
She is fluent in English, Italian and German.

Marina Ačkar, bacc. sanit. ing.

marinagraduated from the School of Nursing Vinogradska, Zagreb. After her internship on KBC (University Hospital) Rebro, she enrolled in the University of Applied Health Studies, Zagreb.
She is currently on the 5th year of the Specialist Study of Environmental Health Engineering.
She is a member of the Croatian Nursing Council. She speaks fluent English. She likes socializing and going out with friends.

Marijana Ropac, m. s.

marijanaShe was born in Rijeka, where she graduated from the School of Nursing.
She used to work in Ivana Brlić Mažuranić Home for Orphans in Rijeka for a number of years.
In 2009 and 2010, before moving to Zagreb, she worked as an assistant in Dr. Prpić’s dental office in Rijeka.
From 2010 – 2012 she worked as an assistant in Fiziodent Polyclinic.
Since 2012 she has been working in Orthonova Polyclinic.
She continues her education and individual professional development.
She enjoys meeting new people, exploring new destinations, listening to good music and reading poetry.
